The fleet

The fleet which includes three 42' Keith Nelson pilot boats, each having two 260 hp engines with which they are able to reach a speed of 18 nots.

The staff, which will be made up of 12 pilots, will assure a 24 hour service for 365 days a year. Each pilot provided with a VHF in order to provide a continuous connection pilots - ships - pilot station to ensure the pilot service required by law for the port and for the adjacent area up to one mile from the port entrance for all ships with a gross tonnage of over 500 Tons. The telephone (081-5634045 PBX with 4 lines ISDN) and fax (081 -5634089) together with a computer connection via modem, as well as Internet (e-mail e-mail dir@pilotinapoli.it) will enable straightforward communications with everybody. The entire structure organized according to the most recent European Community regulations and international rules regarding security and quality (ISO 9002 ISM Code).
